Hue Folk is an exciting British Urban Pop artist studio. Heavily influenced by pop culture. Both original paintings and prints are created using bold, vibrant colours and lavish amounts of texture.
Backed by a traditional fine art background and award-winning artists in their own right, ideas are collected, refined and forged in their Buckinghamshire based studio.
The recent series, inspired by iconic book covers, looks to take humour and a typical British sensibility to examine sarcasm, relationships and general life alongside location specific spin off pieces. Highly relatable, funny and personal, yet not afraid to tread the line.
Hue Folk shows true wit and a keen appreciation for the psychology of the nation with each new release, taking inspiration from a wide and varied array of sources. From sport to alcohol, crass humour to regional dialects; there is something for everyone.
